Atelier Depoorter is a Belgian atelier in Sint-Eloois-Winkel that builds fully bespoke sofas and armchairs by hand. Customers choose the shape, composition, fabric and finish themselves. I built their new website: a bilingual (Dutch/French) marketing site with a filterable showroom catalog, a projects/realisations section, a jobs page and a Strapi-powered CMS so the team can manage everything themselves.

Have a look at the website: Atelier Depoorter.

I also shot and edited a small product video for the project, have a look below.

Shot and edited by me, a quick look at the finished product.

The stack

Built with Nuxt 4 and a headless Strapi CMS, so the atelier's team can add new sofas, projects and job listings without touching code. A few things that made it more than a standard brochure site:

  • @nuxtjs/i18n for the full Dutch/French bilingual experience
  • A filterable showroom catalog (color, material, shape, type, usage) backed by Strapi
  • Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form instead of an intrusive captcha
  • Mapbox for the atelier's location
  • Transactional emails via Resend with React Email templates
  • motion-v for the site's animations and transitions

A fun one to build end-to-end, from the content modeling in Strapi to the last bit of animation polish on the frontend.

I hope this project can further evolve and grow. I want to keep improving it, a product is never really finished.
